We asked /r/rugbyunion to ask Tom Youngs, Tom Croft, Owens Williams and Ed Slater anything at all. Find out what they wish fans knew more about in rugby, who they’d like to add to the Tigers squad in the first part of our AMA with these adidas rugby players.
Who are we asking?
An accomplished centre, Tom Youngs has had great success in his move to hooker for England and Leicester Tigers. He also played with the British and Irish Lions in their 2012 tour of Australia.
Tom Croft first gained international attention for the speed he could display on the field. Another Tiger that took part in the 2012 B&I Lions tour, Croft is one of the best back row players in the country.
Owen Williams is one of the brightest young talents at Leicester Tigers, quickly becoming the first choice fly-half after his move there in 2012. Tough competition from fly-halves in Wales have kept him off the Senior Squad sheet but many expect that to change as Williams continues to impress.
Ed Slater is one of the leaders on the pitch, both at Tigers and for England. Slater led England to victory against the Crusaders in New Zealand, one of his proudest moments. He has been at Tigers since playing for the development team in 2009 and is a familiar face round the club.
