Body Armour headguards spotted on the heads of Scotland’s Scott Cummings & Grant Gilchrist
Body Armour have been making class-leading rugby protective wear for over 20 years. There’s a very good chance, if you’ve worn a headguard or shoulder pads, you were wearing a Body Armour product, you just didn’t know it.
Now, flying the flag of their own dedicated brand, Body Armour has been spotted protecting the heads of rugby’s best at the Rugby World Cup in Japan. Amongst them is a duo of young Scots; Locks Scott Cummings and Grant Gilchrist sport blue and red Ventilator respectively.
You might have watched them both play earlier this morning as Scotland put 9 tries past Russia in a fast-paced game in Shizuoka Stadium. Scotland now face an on-fire Japan in a shoot out for a quarter-final spot on Sunday.
Worn by club and professional players alike, the Ventilator has long been one of the most popular headguards on the market. Now branded natively as Body Armour (but in reality, it’s exactly the same headguard you’ve loved for years) this scrum cap is designed to combine the best protection, breathability and light weight.
