Rugby Bits: Rough Riding Rugby in the USA

Will Rugby break out in the USA?

This week on Rugby Bits we look at two different news stories that are attempting to make rugby more appealing to an american audience. The newly created and much criticised, NRFL (National Rugby Football League), has announced details of an exhibition Cup match against Leicester Tigers before the League launches next year. We also discuss the long gestating movie project based around the sporting life of Gareth Thomas that has reportedly moved to Ireland to make it more relatable to an american audience amid fears they may not know anything about Wales. We discuss all this and more in the latest Rugby Bits:

Remember you can enter our European Rugby Championship Cup competition over on Facebook until Sunday, to win either a Toulon or Leinster shirt. Let us know in the comments here your thoughts on the NRFL and how the European Semi-Finals are going to go this weekend.
