The British and Irish Lions shirt for the 2017 New Zealand Tour was finally revealed this month. Canterbury have drawn from the history of Lions jerseys, like the wingtip collar, when designing the 2017 shirt while also ensuring it has the latest in sporting technology.
The Lions will take to the field in the shirt first on the 3rd of June as they build up to their first game against the All Blacks on the 24th of June. We can’t wait to see this Jersey on the pitch.
The team at adidas have been very busy packing technology into the latest iteration of the iconic All Blacks Jersey. They claim this is strongest rugby shirt the sport company has ever made thanks to the chassis system and the digital weave of the material.
The first outing of the shirt was overshadowed slightly by an incredible performance from Ireland who won their first ever game against the All Blacks. We doubt it will be long though before this shirt racks up another record streak for the best team in the world.
The All Blacks take on Italy next followed by a rematch against Ireland in Dublin the following week. Expect the All Blacks to hit back hard.

As one of the most advanced manufacturers of compression clothing on the market, we always get excited when new SKINS kit comes into rugbystore HQ.
Compression can improve your performance on the pitch and training in a number of ways. It can help prevent injury, reduce muscle soreness after exercise, regulates your body temperature and can even help with oxygen flow in your body to keep you performing at the top level for longer. And SKINS are among the best at doing compression.
The latest in the DNAmic range gives you a unique and tailored fit as the materials stretch and fit to your body shape exactly. SKINS have also improved the freedom of movement with this top, so you can perform without feeling hampered. If you’ve not tried compression with your workout before, now is a great time to start.
